Who we are
WPMove is a service that helps users migrate posts and media between WordPress sites. This site is operated by an independent developer. Contact: contact@wpmove.app.
Data we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and username. When you configure a migration, we store the credentials you provide (site URL, username, Application Password) in encrypted form in our database. We do not store any content migrated through the plugin.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the WPMove service: account authentication, running migrations, and sending transactional emails (migration results, licence activation, expiry reminders). We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card data. When you complete a purchase, Stripe shares your email address and a payment reference with us to activate your licence.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and secure your session. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use WPMove. You can manage your preferences using the cookie banner.
Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Migration credentials are stored until you delete them. Migration history and log files are automatically deleted after 90 days (configurable by the administrator). You may also delete individual migration records at any time from your migration history page.
Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data (migration history, log files, credentials) directly from your account page using the “Delete my account” button. You may also contact us at contact@wpmove.app to exercise any of your rights.
